AG Realty, a boutique, family-owned real estate brokerage located at the crossroads of Orinda, was established in 2001 by Alexander Gailas. For the past two decades AG Realty has enjoyed a high visibility profile as a solid, local business in the East Bay Area, providing personalized service to over 300 clients. We specialize in Alamo, Danville, Walnut Creek, Lamorinda, Oakland, Berkeley, El Cerrito and with an extensive knowledge of the East Bay markets at-large.
AG Realty’s continued growth and influence on the Greater Bay Area real estate markets further expanded when Katia Gailas, Alex’s daughter, joined the company. Both Katia, who owns property in Oakland, and Alex, who resides in Orinda, have always been fully involved in the local community and are now proudly serving the area for over 40 years. Their combined experience—Katia’s unbeatable energy matched with Alex’s professional expertise—has allowed them to establish an outstanding reputation in the real estate industry in the East Bay Area and beyond.

Alexander Gailas
A graduate of San Francisco State University and later the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Alex Gailas, holds a California real estate broker license, and is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)—the highest credential awarded to residential brokers achieved by only 4% of realtors nationally. He got into real estate in 1999 and started his own brokerage a few years later, in 2001. Since then, he’s been organically growing his team, creating a strong network within the community and handling million dollar listings and sales, turning AG Realty into one of the most reputable boutique brokerages in the East Bay area. With a decade-long career Alex is an expert in the field. Simply put: He won’t rest until the deal is closed.

Katia Gailas
Katia Gailas has always had a passion for art. Having earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, during which time she studied art extensively in Italy, she found her creativity best utilized in the business world. She made the industry leap into real estate in 2016. Her open-mindedness, detail-oriented approach and creative thinking have allowed her to excel in competitive markets: whether through negotiation tactics to secure a property, marketing strategies that produce ultimate exposure, or a strong comprehension of market trends that provide clients with the greatest education and advantage. Needless to say, she’ll take care of your real estate needs in the most state of the art way.
